It is such and important (and fun!) part of the writing process, at least for me. (Although, unlike you, I find that listening to the radio ignites ideas in my mind.) I am confused, though, how the words planning and work and plotting can co-exist compatibly with daydreaming in your mind. LOL So true about the daydreaming.
