I didn't give in to obnoxious whining when my kids were tired and needed to go home for a nap, but I regularly gave them an incentive up front (finish this morning's errands and we'll stop for ice cream on the way home). Why don't I do that more for myself? I know it works. (Look at Monday's post for proof. LOL) Note to self: list more small and large rewards that REALLY motivate me. Then use them!
