Oh! Michael Buckley! I have to stop myself from gushing. He writes like well, he writes. I love how the books are on levels which the kids "get," the teens "get" and the adults "get." I love how the little sister bites her hand when she's really excited. he uses great body tags in his writing.

Great blog today! I'm not familiar with your stories yet, Michael, as I don't have kids but your celebrity suggestion is something I do myself and it helps so much! There are so many times when I've gotten stuck on what this person might do in that situation but then I look at those celebrity pictures and imagine them in the situation and it starts flowing again. I love it!

And just so you know, I am now craving Peanut Butter Crunch. Thanks! Lol!

Michael, thanks for blogging with us today. I've heard about making a visual to help "see" the story I'm writing. I've never really tried more than using a celeb picture or two, but your idea of using pictures you've taken sounds great. I'm smacking myself on the head thinking, "Why didn't I think of that!"? It will probably help me a lot, considering my critique partners are constantly telling me I need to include more description of setting. Thanks for the idea! And thanks for joining us here.
