Hi Elizabeth, thanks for joining us! It's funny how many times I hear that a writers friends and/or family help them get work done when the writer was afraid that people would simply feel in the way or ignored. My husband has been having a great time helping me with research on topics he is interested in. Maybe your kids will find little things to help you! Good luck on both of your deadlines! We're rooting for you!

Good point. As a stay-at-home mom, there are lots of distractions that keep me from writing. As well, I have marketing chores I must do for my August 1 release that prevent me from spending enough time with my current WIP (due Sept. 1.) It's a juggling act. But my kids have been very helpful this summer and seem to understand.
