I used to be a panster; the story flowed effortlessly from my imagination to my fingertips. I lost that spontaneous mojo, so now I have to learn how to "spew" before I "stew." ;-) I've heard similar advice quite a bit over the past year, but the way you said it made me see no matter how much I want my every word to be perfect the first time around, it won't be and that's okay.
