Ooo! Ouch! Shonna, do you have a direct line to my subconscious? You just described a problem I’ve had for a long time, also know as perfectionism. Maybe we should dedicate a month to battling that as well!

I’ve submitted more this year than last year, but here I am saying again that I’m going to submit more this year. You all heard me say it here! :)

Thanks, needed that, will stop reading twitter and playing games on facebook, and get typing, i.e. how can I really start editing if I don’t finish typing draft, it is getting scary as 1st ebook end in sight.

Great post! I think there’s a line to balance – many, many writers seem to query too early, before their ready, but the flip side is some do just put it off.
Thanks for the encouragement.

sloanwriter, don’t want to take all the computer fun away, but yes, you better get typing.

Wendy, I agree about that line. We probably ALL submit too early, but I’d rather risk that than never trying.

Great post. I might have to print this one out and frame it.

Now, off to work on a query letter. :)
