It was inevitable. It took three weeks, but I finally succumbed. Somewhere, somehow I picked up a bug. Not surprising. Anyone who travels knows that every new place has new illnesses to combat. There is always a transition time of fighting colds, lethargy and germs. At least it is only a head and chest cold. I hate stomach and digestion issues. Even so, I have been doing little more than work this week. That means I’ve waited til the last minute to write this blog again.
Just because I’m sick, though, doesn’t mean our readers should be cheated out of a blog, I decided to see what others have written about writing during NaNoWriMo. I came up with a few unique ideas from many past years.
Do you really want to write a novel in November? If you do, you might be interested in these sites.
If you’d like to work on something other than fiction, here are few interesting suggestions.
- Write a poem a day during November
- Non-fiction
- Picture book
- Something from the NaNo site, although admittedly, it’s meant for after NaNo.
- And a few humorous suggestions.
Whatever you write, let’s have a great November!
